The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 937 are hosting a dedication ceremony for their Brazos Valley Vietnam Veterans Memorial this Sunday, November 9.
The memorial is to honor all that served in the Vietnam War and dedicated to those who died there.
Vietnam veteran and chapter member, John Hince, said there are 58 names of service members from the seven counties of the Brazos Valley who died in Vietnam, inscribed on the monument.
The monument is located by the Clara B. Mounce Library in downtown Bryan on the 27th Street side.
A musical prelude by the Bryan High School band will begin around 2:00 p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m.
There is free parking in the garage next to the library.
