UPDATE-Two Arrests Made in Connection with Bryan Armed Robberies

Friday afternoon update:

Bryan police has announced the arrests of two teenagers from recent armed robberies at convenience stores.

Friday afternoon, a 16 year old was arrested for holdups at Palasota Grocery, the Handi-Stop on West William Joel Bryan, and Sodolak’s Grocery. Officers found him at the same location where 17 year old Tylar Davis of Bryan was arrested on a charge of being the gunman at the Handi-Stop robbery.

Initial news release from Bryan police:

On January 22, 2015, police arrested Tylar Denzel Davis age 17 of Bryan for two counts of Aggravated Robbery (one for each clerk at the Handi Stop).

Davis was the gunman in the robbery that occurred at the Handi Stop and was linked through fingerprint identification.

He was arrested without incident at his home.

Due to his age his photo cannot be released.

The investigation continues into the other robberies and people involved.
