Update:
College Station police announce a ticket was issued to the driver of a SUV that struck a bicyclist for for running a red light.
CSPD reports there are no other charges expected at this time.

A bicyclist is hospitalized in stable condition after being struck by a SUV in the Northgate district Monday evening.
College Station police report at the intersection of University and College Main, the driver of a westbound SUV ran a red light and struck the northbound bicyclist.
The female bicyclist sustained numerous abrasions along road rash, bruising, and a black eye at this time.
