UPDATE: Still No Cause of Townhome Fire in North College Station

Tuesday morning update from the College Station fire department:

· College Station Fire Department and Bryan Fire Department units responded to 923 Spring Loop at 20:48 hours for a reported structure fire.

· First arriving unit on scene within four minutes at 20:52 and advised smoke showing from a single story structure and would be a “working fire”.

· All occupants were accounted for outside of the structure upon arrival. A quick interior attack was performed and the seat of the fire was knocked down. Damage was contained to this structure only.

· CSFD’s Community Action Response Team (CART) responded to assist with the 5 displaced residents.

· No injuries occurred.

· The cause of the fire is still under investigation by CSFD’s Fire Marshal’s Division.

Original story:

A small apartment fire Monday night on the north side of College Station remains under investigation. No injuries were reported from the fire off Spring Loop. Traffic was blocked in the neighborhood during and after the fire was put out.
