UPDATE: Have You Seen These Animals?

On June 8, 2014 College Station Animal Control received a report of an animal bite that occurred around 6:00 pm on this date. The victim stated the dog was loose in the parking lot of the Sonic at 401 Texas. When the victim attempted to pick up the dog, it bit the victim on the face. The victim described it as a small dog, tan in color. It appeared to be a Chihuahua/wire-haired terrier mix. It was not wearing a collar. The victim did not see if the animal was a male or a female. College Station Animal Control is asking for help from the public in locating the dog involved in the bite. The dog needs to be located and observed to rule out possible rabies exposure to the victim. If you have any information about this case, please call (979)764-3600.

On June 6, 2014 College Station Animal Control received a report of an animal bite that occurred around 10:30 pm to 11:00 pm on the previous date. The victim stated they were in the 3400 blk of Treeline and observed a cat wandering around the area, and no owners were present. The victim picked up the cat to read the I.D. tag, and as a dog approached them, the cat bit and scratched the victim and ran away. The cat was described as “fluffy”, black to dark charcoal gray, and wearing a pink collar with a pink heart-shaped tag, possibly with a bell on the collar. The cat is described as being an older kitten or young adult. The cat was last seen around Angel Fire Ct and the 3500 block of Treeline. College Station Animal Control is asking for help from the public in locating the cat in the bite. The cat needs to be located and observed to rule out possible rabies exposure to the victim.
