The victim advised she was walking at the intersection of Holleman Drive and Saddle Lane with her dog on leash when suddenly a loose stray dog came at her and started a fight with her dog.
The victim grabbed her dog by the back legs to separate the dogs and was bit by the stray dog on the right upper leg.
The victim described the dog as a yellow Labrador mix with a white front right paw, around 70 pounds and was not wearing a collar.
The dog ran westbound on Saddle Lane.
