UPDATE: Bryan Police Identifies Pedestrian Who Dies After Being Struck By A SUV

Bryan police identify the pedestrian who died after being struck by a SUV Sunday night.

BPD investigators determined 34 year old Susan Louise Brunson of Bryan was crossing Boonville Road at Town Square Avenue (formerly Buddy’s Avenue, near Wildflower Drive) in an area where there is no crosswalk.

The northbound pedestrian failed to yield the right of way when she was struck by the eastbound SUV.

BPD reports the driver of the SUV was not injured and is fully cooperating with the investigation.

A pedestrian crossing Boonville Road in Bryan Sunday night died after being struck by a SUV.

Bryan police is attempting to identify the pedestrian and notify the family.

According to a BPD news release, more information will be released Monday about what happened around 7:40 p.m. Sunday on Boonville near Wildflower Drive.
