UPDATE: 60 Vehicles Damaged in CS Criminal Mischief Case

At last count, 60 vehicles have been reported damaged from Tuesday night’s criminal mischief incidents.

College Station police is asking anyone with home surveillance set up to check their footage for suspects or a suspect vehicle.

College Station police are looking for one or more suspects after 32 vehicles were damaged Tuesday night.

The first call came around 10:45 p.m. from the area of Willow Pond St. and Crepe Myrtle St. near Graham Road. According to the report, nine vehicles had the back glass shot out by a BB gun.

Shortly after taking the reports, a call came from the 3300 block of General Parkway in the Barracks Townhomes development where another 12 vehicles had broken glass.

While officers were working on those reports, an additional call came in from the area of Fincastle Loop, Decatur Dr. and Southern Plantation where a total of 11 vehicles had been damaged.

The approximate value of total damage is $9,600. Anyone with information is asked to call CSPD at 764-3600.

On Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at about 2245 hours, Officers with the College Station Police Department were dispatched to the area of Willow Pond St. and Crepe Myrtle St. for a report of criminal mischief. Upon the officers’ arrival they located a total of 9 vehicles that had the back glass shot out by a BB gun. Shortly after the officers finished taking the initial reports a call came in from the 3300 block of General Prkwy reporting additional vehicles damaged in the same manner. Officers located and took reports of 12 vehicles with broken glass within the Barracks Townhome subdivision. While officers were working on those reports, an additional report came in from Fincastle Loop. Once the officers were able to get into the area of Fincastle Loop/Decatur and Southern Plantation they located a total of 11 vehicles that had been damaged by what appeared to be a BB striking the glass. The total number of damaged vehicles to this point is 32. With the approximate value of $9,600.00 in total damage to the vehicles.

College Station officers, Brazos County Sherriff deputies and Texas A&M officers all canvassed the area in an attempt to locate the suspect(s). The suspect(s) were not found or identified. The case was turned over to the College Station Police Department Criminal Investigation Division for further investigation.
