TxDOT Hosting Public Transportation Workshop For Seniors And Disabled Users

If you’re 65 or older and/or disabled…and do or want to use public transportation…you’re encouraged to participate in a workshop in downtown Bryan Tuesday afternoon.

Kari Banta with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is collecting requests on how to spend $6.5 million dollars in federal money for the next two years.

This is expected to be one of the last times Bryan/College Station will be included in this particular program, due to the maximum population limit of 200,000.

Tuesday’s workshop starts at 3 p.m. at the Roy Kelly parking garage terminal building.

If you can not attend, TxDOT also has an online survey.
