Bryan Police Identify The Bicyclist Who Was Killed While Waiting To Cross An Intersection

Bryan police Monday afternoon identified the bicyclist who was killed Sunday after being struck by a vehicle involved in a collision near Bryan High School.

68 year old Johnnye Mary Walton of Bryan was waiting to cross 29th and Barak when she was struck.

BPD ticketed one the driver of a white pickup truck for failing to yield the right of way while making a left turn.

There was a collision with a silver pickup truck. The bicyclist was struck by the silver truck.

A two vehicle crash in Bryan Sunday afternoon near Bryan High School killed a bicyclist who was struck by one of the vehicles.

Bryan police report at 29th and Barak, an adult bicyclist was struck while waiting to cross the intersection.

No one in either vehicle was injured.

The identity of the bicyclist has not been released.
