Two teenagers have been arrested after trying to steal Lego sets and bean bags.
College Station Police were called to the Walmart on Brothers Boulevard shortly after 10pm Tuesday night.
Arrest records say video surveillance cameras captured 18-year-old Justin Henderson, Jr. and 19-year-old William Feldhans scanning a bottle of soda, but placing Legos in the bagging area instead.
They made it to the second set of doors before the loss prevention team escorted them back into the store.
(2) Big Joe bean bags — about $44.86 each
(1) Lego: Netflix One Piece — $140.00
(1) Lego: Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle and Grounds — $169.00
The total of the items (pre-tax) was just under $400.00.
In addition to being arrested for theft of property greater than $100 but less than $750, they were also booked on possession of tobacco products by someone under the age of 21 after police found vape pens in their pockets.
As of Wednesday evening, both remained in custody at the Brazos County Jail and being held on $4,300.00 bond — each.
