Two Remain Hospitalized Following Two Saturday Shootings In Bryan

Two people remain hospitalized on Monday as Bryan police continue to investigate a pair of shootings that took place on Saturday.

Just after 2:30 Saturday morning, officers responded to a northside residential area on the freeway frontage road near Woodville Road. One person remains hospitalized in stable condition after being shot. The relationship between the suspect and the victim and what led to the shooting remains unknown. BPD tweeted this does not appear to be a random event.

Saturday night just before ten, officers went to a westside neighborhood on Bittle Lane, between Groesbeck Street and Henderson Park. Two people were shot. One is hospitalized in stable condition and the second was treated and released. The relationship between the suspect and victims are unknown, as is the circumstances leading to the gunfire.
