Some BTU customers in north Bryan were hit with two power outages this Tuesday morning (June 2).
The first affected 7,000 customers and the second impacted 2,800.
A BTU spokeswoman tells WTAW News that the first outage was caused by an equipment failure at a substation near Kemp-Carver elementary school.
The second outage happened at another substation that was used to help with the first outage.
