Two people have been arrested in separate armed robberies that took place at the same College Station motel.

Arrest reports from College Station police say on September 8th, the first victim reported being threatened with a gun and a taser. And that victim said the suspects threatened to harm family members if they contacted law enforcement.

On September 9th, an Uber driver was struck on the head several times with a gun. That victim remembered the phone number used to order the ride taken by the other suspect.

Tracing the phone number and the name of the person who rented a room led to finding 42 year old Tashawna Franklin of College Station. Further investigation identified the second suspect, 33 year old Mark Timothy Roberts, whose hometown is not known.

A CSPD spokesman tells WTAW News that Franklin and Roberts were arrested last Wednesday (September 18) in the Houston area.

As of September 23rd, both remain held in the Harris County jail. Harris County online records show Franklin’s bond was set at $75,000 dollars. Roberts is held on a $30,000 dollar bond and a hold on a motion to revoke parole.
