Two murders in Robertson County land three suspects in jail.

Sheriff Bill Ruland posted on his Facebook page that two suspects in a homicide east of Calvert last Friday (February 6) were found in Tarrant County. As of Monday morning (February 9), jail records showed 65 year old David Tullos of Franklin was being held in lieu of a $500,000 dollar bond on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and 67 year old Lucienda Elliott of Franklin was held in lieu of a $15,000 dollar bond on a theft charge. Sheriff Ruland’s post also said further charges of being prepared.

In a separate case, an arrest has been made in a murder Sunday (February 8) at 1:30 in the morning at an apartment complex in Hearne. A news release on the Hearne police department’s Facebook page says the victim, 23 year old Tavion Hyman, died of multiple gunshot wounds. Another Hearne man, 23 year old Monterrius Smith Jr., was arrested. As of Monday morning (February 9), no bond has been set.
