Two men were arrested during an investigation of an armed robbery last week.
On Thursday, Bryan Police were tracking 21-year-old Cedric Andrea Henderson, III, the prime suspect in an armed robbery that occurred on September 8, 2026. Officers saw Henderson enter a vehicle as a passenger and they attempted to pull that vehicle over.
After the vehicle stopped, Henderson ran from the vehicle, but was apprehended. He was charged with Evading Arrest. He had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation and remains jailed. Henderson has not yet been charged in connection with the robbery.
The driver, 19-year-old Jeremy Dominique Reed, Jr., traveled approximately 1,200 feet after officers tried to initiate the stop. He tossed a handgun from the vehicle that investigators say matched a photo Reed posted on Instagram. That gun had the serial number filed off.
Reed was charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, Tampering with Identification Numbers, Driving Without A License, and Fleeing a Police Officer. He remains jailed on $80,000 bond.
