Two Fatality Crashes In Three Days

Local law enforcement has responded to two fatality crashes in three days.

College Station police is investigating a fatality crash that took place Monday morning (April 27) on FM 60 west of Highway 47. CSPD’s Facebook page says an 18 year old woman who attended a local high school died. She was driving an eastbound car that crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a westbound pickup head on. The driver of the pickup was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. As of Monday at 2 p.m. no names have been released except to family members and school officials.

Bryan police reports on Saturday night (April 25) on Highway 47 near the RELLIS campus, a Caldwell resident died in a one vehicle crash. A BPD spokesman says 24 year old Esequiel Flores was driving a vehicle in the northbound lanes when the vehicle crossed the median and crashed in the southbound lanes. There were no passengers and other vehicles were involved.
