Two Crashes Near Bryan High Wednesday Afternoon

Local law enforcement dealt with two wrecks near Bryan High School Wednesday afternoon.

No one was hurt in either crash.

One of the collisions, at 29th and Briar Oaks, was during a large funeral procession and involved a Brazos County sheriff’s patrol car and a second vehicle. According to the sheriff’s office, the procession was in the outside lane, while the deputy that was assisting was traveling in the inside lane. A SUV cut through the procession and struck the patrol vehicle. According to the sheriff’s office, Bryan police investigated the accident.

At roughly the same time, Bryan police went to Briarcrest and Oak Ridge to check out the other wreck.
