Bryan police arrest one of three people accused of gunfire earlier this month that struck a home and at least three vehicles in the neighborhood near the federal women’s prison. BPD arrest reports say investigators used information collected in part from videos and license plate readers to identify 29 year old Tony Bradford Jr., who was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and deadly conduct. One of the shots that was fired at one in the morning on August 9th entered a home near 21st and Dansby, missing a woman who was sitting in her living room. Bradford, who is in the Brazos County jail for the 19th time since April of 2014, is held as of August 26th in lieu of bonds totaling $415,000 dollars and a parole violation from an undisclosed prior conviction.

A Bryan High School student went to the juvenile detention Tuesday morning (August 26) on a charge of making a terroristic threat last Friday (August 22). A Bryan police spokesman says the student threatened to shoot another student during a verbal altercation on campus. No guns were present and no one was injured.
