Twin brothers from Bryan who work around the country performing as “Foreign Twiinz” were arrested again on drug charges.
22 year olds Shawn and DaShawn Butler were arrested Friday and held on bonds of $250,000 dollars each. Shawn was released after posting that bond while DaShawn remained in jail as of Monday according to online records.
Bryan police made the arrests after seizing taking trash bags set outside the Butler’s home on Venice, near Old Reliance Road.
An inspection of what was inside the trash bags included trace amounts of ecstasy and marijuana stems.
Earlier this year, police say two visits to the Butler’s home on Brookside led to the seizure of ecstasy, cocaine, prescription drugs, mushrooms, and more than $9,000 dollars cash.
According to the Brazos County district attorney’s office, the brothers have not been indicted on charges from the arrests in February or April.
According to the latest arrest reports, the brothers told police they sold and distributed drugs.
Investigators at the local, state, and national level believe the activity included when they hosted rave parties.
