A central Texas television meteorologist who was shot two weeks ago Wednesday has posted an update on his Facebook page.

Patrick Crawford of KCEN-TV wrote “I am getting better and stronger each day. I am still in a large amount of pain, but I have medicine to help with that I don’t know when I will be back at work, but I am very optimistic that it will be soon.”

Crawford also wrote “I also want to thank everyone for the love and support you have shown me during this tough time. You have no idea how much it has meant to me and my family. Thank you so much!!!”

KCEN reported Crawford was released from the hospital on Saturday, ten days after he was shot in the station’s parking lot. The suspect remains at large.

KCEN reports a reward to catch the shooter stands at $20,000. If you have any information you can call the Crime Stoppers tip line at 254-883-3104. The Department of Public Safety has also set up a tip line specifically for information about the case. That number is 800-863-8558.
