Last month, a Bryan man handed over three guns when he pleaded guilty in Brazos County district court to unlawful carrying of a weapon. On Wednesday night (July 2), 29 year old Keegan Garner was arrested for possessing a gun when Bryan police also found two baggies of marijuana. The arrest followed a traffic stop for a headlight that wasn’t working. The BPD arrest report also said during the traffic stop, Garner received multiple text messages and multiple Apple cash payments. The arresting officer also found $1,000 dollars cash in the glove box. Garner was released from his 10th trip to the Brazos County jail in nine years after posting bonds totaling $6,000 dollars.
A Bryan police officer stopping a car for failing to signal takes the driver to jail on eight charges from a total of four agencies. From the traffic stop, 41 year old Andre Carraby II of Bryan was charged with giving a false name, driving with an invalid license, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Carraby was wanted on warrants from Robertson County for evading arrest and driving with an invalid license, a warrant from Hearne police for prostitution, and he was wanted for violating parole from an undisclosed conviction.
A Bryan man who ran away from College Station police following a traffic stop had to be rescued after falling nearly eight feet into a creek. That’s according to a CSPD Facebook post showing photos of College Station firefighters needing 35 minutes to rescue the injured driver. 30 year old Antonio Wilson of Bryan was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Then he went to jail for the 20th time in 12 years…this time for driving without insurance and evading arrest with a prior conviction. Wilson was released from jail after posting a $5,000 dollar bond on the evading charge and a $300 dollar personal bond for not having insurance.
