Three men admit in Brazos County district court last month (January 2026) to robbing two people in their Bryan hotel room in March 2021.

23 year old Christian Wood of Quitman Texas, who was accused in the Bryan police arrest report of tazing one of the victims an estimated 12 times, received a ten year prison sentence.

Two brothers from Bryan, 22 year old Jacob Easom and 23 year old Joel Easom, both received five years probation from a ten year prison sentence.

Bryan police reported a total of four men took cash, a handgun, and a small amount of marijuana.

Wood and the Easom brothers remained out of jail on bond until entering plea agreements with the district attorney’s office in January. Court records show before the plea agreements, Wood was scheduled for trial nine times and the Easom’s were scheduled for trials ten times.
