Three cities in the Brazos Valley are on the latest list of grants that are awarded by the Texas general land office.
The city of College Station is getting $500,000 dollars to do a flood hazard study, initiate a flood warning system, and build back up generators.
Iola is getting almost $675,000 dollars to improve the city’s water and wastewater systems.
And Todd Mission is getting almost $1.3 million dollars to improve its water system.
Also involved in the grant applications was the Brazos Valley council of governments.
