Three Arrested in Home Burglary

Three residents were arrested Tuesday when a College Station Police officer on foot patrol for burglary prevention came across just that.

The officer was in the 600 block of Maryem street at approximately 10:45 p.m. when he heard the sound of breaking glass and a door being kicked.

While observing from a secluded area he said he saw flickering lights inside a darkened house, and a subject crack open the front door to peek out.

He chased the person into the house and found multiple people burglarizing the home.

All of the occupants fled, and multiple officers responded to assist.

Seventeen-year-olds Quaneisha Ross and Anthony Eason, and a 16-year-old juvenile—all from College Station—were charged with home burglary and evading arrest.

The juvenile had an additional charge of possession of marijuana.

Bryan Police said several pieces of stolen property were recovered.
