Thanks to the generosity to the listeners of WTAW and other Bryan Broadcasting stations, we were able to raise more than $50,000 dollars last week for our local Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
This was the biggest total yet for the event, which dates back to 2016.
The funds will continue to power Ronald McDonald House Charities family rooms in our local hospitals as well as their Happy Wheels Carts and Healing Hearts initiatives.
This year’s Bryan Broadcasting RMHC Cares for Kids radiothon was presented by FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies.
Corporate sponsors who matched listener contributions during the two day event were FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, Dignity Memorial Funeral Home, Galleria Day Spa, McDonald’s owner/operator Bob Frazier and Frazier Foods, RV Station Bryan-College Station, the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets, Party Time Rentals, The Women’s Club, Aggieland Credit Union, Bubba Moore Memorial Group, Holladay & Associates, Baylor Scott & White Health, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Law Offices of Younkin & Doss, Kristi Fox Satsky-Realtor Century 21, Coleman Patterson Real Estate, CHI St. Joseph Health, Mid South Baking Company, Higginbotham Insurance & Financial Services, Kroger, Urban Optics, and B&B Collaborative.
