Texas Governor signs off on new Name, Image, Likeness Bill

Texas has become the 19th state to approve college athletes making money off of their name, image and likeness.

Governor Greg Abbott approved a senate bill last week that will give amateur athletes more power and influence than ever before.

The new Texas NIL law will officially take effect on July 1st, the same time as Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and New Mexico.
