More organizational changes at Texas A&M have been announced by new president Susan Ballabina.
The May 27th message on Ballabina’s website includes A&M’s chief operating officer Peter Lange now being responsible for coordinating operations in Fort Worth, McAllen, and Washington D.C.
Being moved from A&M’s operations responsibilities is information technology, which will now fall under the university’s business services department.
Ballabina also says efforts at the health science center and Galveston campus continue to support operational alignment with the main campus.
And the health science center is now the focus of a 60 day comprehensive review which Ballabina says is to find ways to elevate health related programs across the university.
In late June, she will hold her first meeting with a newly formed senior leadership group. This includes her cabinet, A&M’s deans, affiliate CEO’s, chief operating officers at A&M’s remote locations, and the chairs of the university’s staff council and faculty advisory council.
