Texas A&M’s Blocker Building Closed

The Blocker Building on Texas A&M”s campus was closed Monday due to a water main break.

The building’s third floor is being remodeled and a construction crew carrying dry wall up a staircase hit the valve of a chilled water line causing the major leak.

Custodial crews and a professional company were brought in to help with the clean-up. Classes were canceled for the remainder of the day, but will resume at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
