Texas A&M Women’s Basketball Announces SEC Schedule

News release from Texas A&M Athletics:

BIRMINGHAM – The Texas A&M women’s basketball team learned its 2026 SEC schedule from the league office Tuesday which opens New Year’s Day against Oklahoma inside Reed Arena.
Season tickets for the 2025-26 season are on sale through 12thmanfoundation.com. The remainder of the schedule along with tip times and TV designations will be announced at a later date.
The Maroon & White host six of their eight home contests against teams that made the 2025 NCAA Tournament. They welcome Oklahoma (Jan. 1), Vanderbilt (Jan. 11), LSU (Jan. 22), South Carolina (Feb. 2), Alabama (Feb. 8), Auburn (Feb. 15), Arkansas (Feb. 22) and Mississippi State (Feb. 26) to Reed Arena.
The Aggies hit the road in eight games to face off against Georgia (Jan. 4), Florida (Jan. 8), Texas (Jan. 18), Missouri (Jan. 25), Oklahoma (Jan. 29), Kentucky (Feb. 12), Tennessee (Feb. 19) and Ole Miss (March 1).
Texas A&M is led by Olympic gold medal winning coach and 2025 Carol Eckman Integrity in Coaching Award recipient Joni Taylor. Taylor enters her fourth season guiding the Aggies and is joined by returner Lauren Ware who paced the squad and was third in the SEC in blocks per game (1.75) during the 2024-25 campaign.

Taylor also signed seven transfers, including Fatmata Janneh, who led the country in defensive rebounds (9.7) last season, and the reigning MAAC Defensive Player of the Year Ny’Ceara Pryor, who produced the most steals per game in the nation (4.1) last year.
