Texas A&M Third Baseman Nico Partida Garners Freshman All-America Honors from Baseball America

Texas A&M third baseman Nico Partida was selected as a First Team Freshman All-American by Baseball America, as announced by the outlet Thursday afternoon.

The Manvel, Texas, native is the 10th Aggie to receive Freshman All-America honors from the publication and the first since Gavin Grahovac in 2024.

Partida started in 48 games for the Maroon & White at third base during his rookie campaign, slashing .306/.408/.550. The freshman drove in 43 RBI and crossed home plate 45 times, while belting 12 home runs and eight doubles. He turned in 17 multi-hit contests and added 12 multi-RBI performances. In conference play, Partida mashed seven home runs and drove in 19 RBI.

The Aggies’ third baseman collected his third Freshman All-America honor after being recognized by Perfect Game and the National College Baseball Writers Association. Partida also earned a nod to the 2026 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp roster, beginning play on June 27.
