The No. 11 Texas A&M softball team travels to Baylor to conclude its non-conference schedule Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Getterman Stadium.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with John Morris (play-by-play) and Kelly Harrell (analyst) in the booth. Fans can also listen on the 12th Man Mobile app or locally on Willy 1550 AM, with Matt Simon and Delaney Duke calling the action.
BETWEEN THE CHALK
Texas A&M (30-12) enters on a five-game winning streak, while Baylor (24-18) has dropped its last two contests. The Aggies hold a 63-23-1 lead in the all-time series, including a 23-12 mark in Waco.
The teams last met in 2025 at Davis Diamond, when KK Dement and Frankie Vrazel fueled a fifth-inning rally as No. 7 Texas A&M erased a six-run deficit to defeat No. 19 Baylor, 10-7. Dement sparked the comeback with an RBI triple, and Vrazel followed with an RBI double before later scoring to pull the Aggies within three.
LAST TIME OUT
Texas A&M swept Ole Miss in Oxford, scoring 27 runs across the three-game series. Kennedy Powell led the Aggies with seven hits and was the only player to record multiple hits in each game.
Micaela Wark and KK Dement each homered multiple times during the series. Wark paced the team with seven RBI, while Dement and Kelsey Mathis added six RBI apiece.
Mya Perez reached base in all three games, extending her on-base streak to 45 games. She also drew six walks, bringing her SEC total to 23 and setting a Texas A&M single-season record.
Sidne Peters, Sydney Lessentine and Taylor Pannell each earned wins in the series, while Peters and Lessentine also recorded a save.
OFFENSIVE PROWESS
Texas A&M has excelled at getting on base and capitalizing on scoring opportunities. The Aggies rank seventh nationally with a .461 on-base percentage, 10th with a .358 batting average and 20th with 7.4 runs per game. They reached the leadoff batter in 15 of 21 innings during the Ole Miss series.
Individually, Mya Perez ranks third nationally with a .618 on-base percentage. Micaela Wark ranks 10th with 18 home runs and 11th with 60 RBI. Kennedy Powell’s 62 hits rank second in the SEC and 23rd nationally.
The Aggies have hit at least one home run in 33 of 42 games this season, including multiple home runs in 16 contests.
