Texas A&M police (UPD) posted on social media Monday (December 1), receiving 15 reports of stolen electric scooters and bicycles during the second half of November.

Between November 15 and 26, all but one of the thefts took place on the main campus. And seven of the thefts were outside residence halls.

UPD also listed tips to reduce the chance of thefts. Anti-theft suggestions include adding an internal GPS tracker, removing the battery pack when possible, and keep locks off the ground where thieves can gain leverage to pry them open.
