Texas A&M police (UPD) is investigating three reports of indecent sexual assaults over a five day period.

The identities of the all the suspects are not known.

UPD reports four similarities in all three cases…the man initiated a conversation that complimented the victim’s looks, the man began asking the victim for their personal information, the man asked the victim about their current relationship status, then the man initiated physical contact through a handshake or a hug in order to get close to the victim for the indecent assault to occur.

Two of the assaults took place at Century Square and the third was at the Wolf Pen Creek bus stop.

UPD encourages everyone to be assertive in stating their boundaries, notify law enforcement when you feel unsafe, and to call 9-1-1 in an emergency.

On UPD’s Facebook post about the assaults, there was a response from the Sexual Assault Resource Center (SARC) of the Brazos Valley. The SARC post says victims of any form of sexual abuse are invited to call the SARC hotline for support and assistance. The 24/7 hotline number is 979-731-1000.
