Texas A&M police (UPD) receive another eight reports of stolen electric scooters and bicycles. That brings the total number of thefts to 65 from the week before last Thanksgiving through the end of January. 30 of the 65 thefts took place outside on-campus residence halls and apartment complexes. UPD tips to reduce the chance of thefts includes parking the two-wheeled electric vehicles in well lit areas in view of cameras and attaching GPS trackers.

Texas A&M police report having two persons of interest from three thefts last week at the student recreation center. Victims in all three cases say an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from their wallets. UPD social media says staff confronted two young men who were seen going through backpacks. The suspects escaped before officers arrived.
