The No. 16 Texas A&M men’s tennis team swept through singles in the Aggies’ SEC road opener against the Kentucky Wildcats, 6-1, at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex Monday afternoon.

Moving into singles, the Maroon & White picked up its first point after a retirement from Kentucky’s Eli Stephenson on court 2. Junior Kholo Montsi had taken the first set, 7-5, before the retirement.

Sophomore Alex Frusina continued the Aggies’ momentum after picking up a ranked win over No. 38 Jack Loutit on court 3 in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4. Fellow sophomore Theo Papamalamis also grabbed a ranked win on court 1 over No. 94 Nicolas Arseneault, 6-4, 6-2.
