Texas A&M Men’s Tennis Falls to Mississippi State on the Road

News release from Texas A&M Athletics:

STARKVILLE – The No. 13 Texas A&M men’s tennis team fell to No. 12 Mississippi State, 6-1, on Thursday at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre.

Texas A&M (15-7, 8-3 SEC) couldn’t recover after Mississippi State (18-4, 8-3 SEC) grabbed the early advantage by winning the doubles point with wins on court 1 and 3.

The Bulldogs tallied hard-fought victories on court 4, 1 and 2 to clinch the win. After the match was clinched, Mississippi State went on to take courts 3 and 6.

Junior Togan Tokac claimed the only point for the Aggies on court 5 over Roberto Ferrer Guimaraes, 4-6, 6-1, 6-4.
