Texas A&M Men’s Swimming & Diving Earn All-American Honors at NCAA Championships

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Texas A&M’s 200 medley relay team earned Honorable Mention All-America accolades as competition began at Men’s NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships Wednesday night at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center. The Aggies sit in 18th place with eight points.

The 200 medley relay squad of Thomas Shomper, Travis Gulledge, Connor Foote and Ben Scholl secured a 13th-place finish to start the meet, clocking in at 1:23.25 to notch the second-fastest time in program history and their first All-America honors of the week. Gulledge’s 23.30 breaststroke split ranks as the third-fastest all-time at A&M.

Competition continues Thursday with Aggies in action in the 200 IM, 50 free, 1-meter and 200 free relay. Links to live swimming results and streaming can be found here, while live diving results can be found here.
