The 100th season of Texas A&M men’s golf is officially underway as the 2026-27 season teed off on Monday at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup. The Aggies concluded the first two rounds of the season with a 4-under par through the first 36 holes.
Wheaton Ennis carded eight birdies over his 36 holes, tied for the fifth-most in the field and was 2-under on the par 5s. He finished the day tied for fifth at 3-under 141 on the par-72, 7,482-yard course, opening with a 1-under 71 before adding a 2-under 70 in the afternoon.
As a team, Texas A&M finished with 32 birdies on the day, the second-best mark in the field and was 3-under on the par 5s. The Aggies finished the day in second place at 4-under 572, 12 strokes behind the Longhorns but comfortably ahead of third-place Rice. Utah and SMU are tied for fourth at 8-over, with Houston sixth at 22-over.
Shiv Parmar opened with the low round of the day for A&M, a 3-under 69, before a 1-over 73 in the afternoon left him tied for seventh at 2-under for the tournament. Kris Kuvaas is even par and sits ninth, while Aaron Pounds rebounded from an opening 74 with a 1-under 71 to sit tied for 10th at 1-over. Landon Ashcraft rounds out the Aggie lineup in 28th at 7-over.
Texas A&M returns to Fields Ranch East on Tuesday for the final round of stroke play, looking to hold its position in the top three of the six-team field before match play begins Wednesday.
