The No. 2 seed Texas A&M equestrian team is set to face No. 7 seed TCU in the NCEA National Championship quarterfinals Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the World Equestrian Center.
The contest marks the 21st all-time meeting between the Aggies (7-5) and the Horned Frogs (8-6). Texas A&M leads the series 12-8.
The Maroon & White are coming off a fresh SEC Conference title behind MOP performances from Meagan Braun (Horsemanship), Kate Egan (Flat) and Mattie Gustin (Reining). They enter competition led by four Ariat NCEA All-Americans in Gustin (Reining), Egan (Flat), Moriah McQueen (Reining) and Grace Shipman (Fences).
With a victory, Texas A&M will face the winner of No. 3 seed Georgia and No. 6 seed OSU on Friday at 8 a.m. in the semifinal round.
