Texas A&M Baseball’s ace left-handed pitcher Ryan Prager announced this afternoon he’s returning to Aggieland for the 2025 campaign.
Prager was drafted in the third round of the MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Angels at 81 overall. The Angels and Prager struggled to agree on a deal and he decided to return to Texas A&M. The value for the pick is reportedly $948,000, but it’s not known what the signing bonus was.
Prager was a second-team All-American and second-team all-SEC pitcher last season. In 19 starts he struck out 124 batters and had a 9-1 record with a 2.95 ERA. He will be a redshirt junior next season.
