BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Riding a three-game win streak, the Texas A&M baseball team welcomes South Carolina for a three-game set, starting Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. Game two of the series is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. followed by the finale on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Thursday’s series opener will be broadcast on ESPNU, while games two and three will be streamed on SECN+. The three-game set can also be heard locally on SportsRadio 1150 AM/93.7 The Zone. In addition, fans can follow along with the series through live stats or on X, @AggieBaseball.
The Aggies (17-15, 3-9) and Gamecocks (20-14, 2-10) are set to meet for the 25th time Thursday night. Texas A&M is 12-12 against South Carolina and have won seven of the last 10 meetings. The Maroon & White claimed last season’s series between the two clubs, taking two of three in Columbia.
The Aggie offense has caught fire of late as the team is averaging 9.8 runs per game over their last 10. Bear Harrison has powered the offensive attack as the sophomore is slashing .486/.558/.971 during the stretch to go along with four homers, five doubles and 14 RBI. Since his return from injury, Caden Sorrell has also provided a jolt for the offense as the sophomore is batting .407 with four homers and nine RBI in seven games.
On the mound, the weekend rotation of Ryan Prager, Justin Lamkin and Myles Patton has anchored the Maroon & White this season. The trio has combined for 3.69 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 141 strikeouts in 136.1 innings of work. Lamkin leads the group with five quality starts, followed by Patton with three.
As a staff, Texas A&M ranks second nationally in walks allowed per nine (2.82), fifth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.24) and 14th in WHIP (1.23). Individually, Patton leads the SEC in walks allowed per nine (1.65) and ranks fourth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (5.88). Lamkin sits eighth among the conference in strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.73) and 10th in strikeouts (52).

TURN IT GOLD
This weekend, the Aggies will ‘Turn It Gold’ against the Gamecocks. The Turn It Gold foundation fights for the voiceless youth in pursuit of elevating childhood cancer awareness and generating bold action through online story sharing, events, and media with the hopes to change the percentage of dollars invested in childhood cancer research and make a real difference for a cure.
As part of the fundraising efforts, Texas A&M baseball t-shirts will be sold for $20 on the concourse all weekend long. A donation link is also available at 12thman.com/turnitgold.
FRIDAY
The first 3,000 fans in attendance for Friday’s series opener will receive the second set of Texas A&M baseball trading cards.
SATURDAY
The first 80 kids 12-and-under are able to join the Aggie starters on the field for the national anthem prior to Saturday’s finale. To join the team on the field, kids 12-and-under should meet at Guest Services 30 minutes prior to first pitch. Anthem Buddies opportunity is limited and subject to change. There will also be FREE face painting on the concourse along the first base side throughout the end of the first inning.
Following the game, kids 12-and-under will have the opportunity to run the bases at Blue Bell Park.

PARKING AT REED ARENA
Due to an event scheduled at Reed Arena, parking will be $5 for fans that can provide proof of a game ticket. Otherwise, parking will be $10.
