Following an outbreak of COVID-19 cases amongst the Florida football program, Texas A&M athletics director Ross Bjork released a statement yesterday, saying:
“We have been in touch with officials at the University of Florida and have also reviewed the available date fom the Kinexon contact tracing system deployed by the SEC. At this point, there has been no impact within our football program, but we will continue our regular testing regiment this week and stay diligent with all of our safety protocols.”
The Aggies defeated the 4th ranked Gators this past Saturday, 41-38 at Kyle Field.
Since then, Florida has received multiple positive tests and been forced to shut down practice.
