Texans falter down stretch to Browns

Baker Mayfield threw for a touchdown and ran for another to lead the Cleveland Browns past the Houston Texans yesterday, 31-21.

The game was tied at 14-14 heading into the third quarter, but Houston quarterback Tyrod Taylor was forced to sit out the entire second half with a hamstring injury.

Before going down, Taylor was 10-for-11 for 125 yards and one touchdown through the air to go along with a rushing touchdown.

He was replaced in the second half by rookie Davis Mills, who completed 8-of-18 passes for 102 yards, one touchdown and one interception
