Sunday’s Contest Against Butler Declared A No Game

COLLEGE STATION – Sunday’s finale of the Texas A&M Invitational between the sixth-ranked Aggie softball team and the Butler Bulldogs was called off in the third inning due to travel restrictions.

The Aggies, who were trailing 9-6, had the bases loaded with one out in the bottom of the third before the drop dead time was reached.

Since the game did not meet the five-inning requirement to be considered an official contest, no stats from this game will be incorporated into the official playing record.

The Aggies return to action Tuesday at 5 p.m. against Lamar at the Aggie Softball Complex. The game can be heard locally on Willy 1550 AM or online at www.12thMan.com/showcase.

Fans can follow the Aggies wherever they go by following @AggieSoftball on Instagram and Twitter or on Facebook at Facebook.com/TAMUSoftball.
