A Sunday morning collision in west Bryan led to one driver being hospitalized and the other driver going to jail.

Bryan police report the victim sustained a spinal fracture and a compound femur fracture.

The other driver, according to the BPD arrest report, admitted being under the influence of alcohol and that she had smoked marijuana prior to the crash at West Villa Maria and Harvey Mitchell Parkway.

28 year old Dominque Nelson remained jailed Tuesday afternoon in lieu of bonds totaling $12,000 dollars on charges of intoxication assault causing serious bodily injury and resisting arrest.
