College Station police responding to a disturbance at five in the morning last Thursday discovered an argument between an eight and a nine year old.

That led to the arrest of their mother on child abandonment charges.

According to the arrest report, the children were left alone for more than ten hours in a home that smelled like dog feces and urine.

Their refrigerator contained dried summer sausage and cheese.

When the mother arrived at the home, she told officers she had rented the home from Air BnB for a week and she had been in Houston collecting belongings from her ex-boyfriend.

According to jail records, 28 year old Patricia Rainosek of Sugar Land is also being held on a warrant from Nueces County charging her with prostitution.

The arrest report did not indicate who has custody of the children.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Rainosek was held in the Brazos County jail in lieu of bonds totaling $31,000 dollars.
