A College Station man remains in jail (as of February 6) following his arrest last Saturday (January 31) on a felony charge of domestic violence strangulation. A College Station police officer’s request to increase bond said the victim went to the hospital for evaluation. The officer’s letter also said 37 year old William Henry Gardner V had a criminal record in Florida that included a prison sentence for armed robbery. Gardner’s bond was set at $30,000 dollars.
A Bryan woman is out of jail after she was arrested January 28th on two counts of animal cruelty that took place last August. Misdemeanor charges were filed Monday (February 2nd) in a Brazos County court at law that accuses 42 year old Michelle Hawkins of not providing food for her pitbull and her hound mix. Bryan police arrest reports say both dogs had to be euthanized. Hawkins was released from jail after posting bonds totaling $10,000 dollars.
