They say customers have reported phone calls from phone number 979-823-7279, impersonating BTU and demanding immediate payment or services will be terminated. BTU will never contact you in this way or threaten immediate disconnection. If you receive a similar call, hang up, and report it.
Former Madison County Sheriff Deputy Arrested for Child Pornography and Assault
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office announced today that former Madison County Deputy has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Sexual Assault of a Child. Jerry Wayne Reyes turned himself in to Burleson County Sheriff’s Office in Caldwell Thursday morning. The 24-year-old was employed by the department from October 2024 through July 4, 2026. The investigation is being conducting by the Texas Rangers. Reyes was released just after 11:00am on Thursday after posting bond in the amount of $200,000.
