Burleson County authorities continue to investigate last October’s armed robbery of the Citizens State Bank of Snook.
Christine Labertew with the sheriff’s office says they haven’t had any new leads in a couple of months but they have persons of interest.
Labertew says the newest information is one suspect was carrying a black drawstring backpack type bag and they’re asking if anyone saw a light grey or silver car with a black male driver that was in the immediate area of the Snook Citizen’s State Bank around the time of the robbery.
Anyone with information is asked to call Bluebonnet Crimestoppers at 866-930-8477 or the Burleson County Sheriff’s office at 979-567-4343. The Burleson County Sheriff’s office, in conjunction with Bluebonnet Crimestoppers are offering a $5000 reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
Christine Labertew visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
